Description
The nylon bushing is usually inside one of the torsion springs to keep the torsion bar from getting cut by the center bracket and from hitting or rubbing the springs as the door operates. This is typically industry standard from most garage door manufactures. The life expectancy is 10,000 cycles with a capacity of 75 lbs. It is a good idea to change this out when you are replacing torsion springs, if you don’t ever want to have a problem again we recommend the Long Life Steel Center Bearing
