Dan Finnegan –
I recently purchased winding bars and received them in a timely matter. The bars themselves are extremely well made and sturdy. Purchasing the bars online I was a little apprehensive they would be of shoddy to material but these bars will last forever and I’d be shocked if they ever bent! TY to DIY for the seamless transfer.

Exactly what I needed for the job, and I got a refund for the difference between the free bars that were included with the springs and the stronger ones that I ordered. Great company. Thanks!
LUIS RODRIGUEZ –
Thank you so much for your quick service. Without your Hex Winding Bars I could not have fixed my garage door safely. Tool worked as advertized.
And your videos were outstanding. This was my first time messing around with a garage door anything. 🙂 With the help of your videos I was able to accomplish this task. The videos were very easy to follow and understand. 5 stars for video
The only advise I have on changing the torsion springs for your garage door is to make sure to watch the video a few times to make sure you have everything that you need before starting and when in doubt watch it again before continuing.
Thank You Again,
Very Satisfied Customer – Lou

Kyle, I really appreciate your video that explains how to safely unwind/wind the torsion springs.
I broke a bottom bracket so I thought I would go ahead and replace both cable assemblies while the spring was unwound. our 1/8″ 7 x 19 cable are much higher quality than the originals. I just received twelve of your 13 Ball Bearing Nylon rollers to finish up this project. These are also very nice rollers that I’m sure will quite the door down.

These worked as advertised and were much easier to work with than the round ones would be. They stay where you put them, no rolling around. Good leverage and easy to get a good grip using these.

Solid, well-made, as-advertised, and shipped promptly (I did pay for 2-day shipping afterall). Shipping costs are not low on these heavy items however! They worked great, and I have used them several times in making adjustments during the new door install. Thanks!

Exactly what I wanted, fit perfectly, and worked fine. As simple a tool as this is, I found it very hard to buy locally! Both a door dealer and all the big box Home centers acted like selling me winding bars would be helping me kill myself and they would have no part of it. Really? I can buy a circular saw, powered nail guns, and even a chainsaw, but winding bars for a garage door… Not a chance.. My door was out of balance, now it’s fine. If I break a spring, I’ll come right back here to place my order. Thanks Kyle!
